Judy Greer in Suburban Shootout
I’m so happy to learn that Judy Greer is cast in HBO’s Suburban Shootout. The abrupt cancellation of her midseason show, Miss Guided, was rather unexpected.
The new series is an adaptation from a British original and the plot sounds a lot like it came straight out of Wisteria Lane or Weeds. Suburban Shootout is about suburban women, housewives if you will, who are at odds with each other…going as far as warring over drugs and guns.
Earlier, it has been reported that Kerri Kenney (”Reno 911″) and Rachael Harris (”Notes from the Underbelly”) are also part of the cast. Barry Sonnenfeld has been tapped for director of the pilot episode.
